My school district uses this word for the word "meeting/training".

I guess someone stumbled upon it and they liked it.

That's OK...I like it, too!

Webster's states: : a nucleus or core group especially of trained personnel able to assume control and to train others; broadly : a group of people having some unifying relationship.

I love this word...must use it more!

Just say it. It sounds wonderful and the meaning is beautiful: making fortunate discoveries by accident!

Choreography

So You Think You Can Dance...or SYTYCD...has lots of choreography, so watching it, I hear the word all the time. I guess that is why when I say the word it makes me feel like my mouth is dancing...Cho-re-og-ra-phy!

Filibuster

This man makes me ill. I think he is a horrible representation of my state and the views of those of us that have pride in it. I believe he is only out for himself and therefore, he makes me sad...and mad. So today, it is not that I like the word filibuster, even the definition seems negative--the use of irregular or obstructive tactics by a member of a legislative assembly to prevent the adoption of a measure generally favored, I just now have a "face" to go with a specific word!
